1.  Pick 1 enlightenment thinker and discuss his or her work and ideas. State your opinion for or against these ideas giving specific details to justify your opinion. 

2.  Pick an issue in the world today that you believe needs to be changed. Describe the issue, why it needs to change and how would you change it.  

Examples: death penalty, torture of citizens by the governments, corruption in govt, lack of rights for women, lack of voting rights, human slavery and racism
