Extra credit Imperialism

This week we will start our next unit: Imperialism Africa, India and China. 

Extra credit: Pick one these areas that has been impacted by 19th century imperialism and create a collage of pictures depicting the impact imperialism has had on that nation or continent. 

Your collage must be at least the size of 1/2 a poster board. Focus on both the positive and negative impacts as well as any current issues the country is facing as a result of imperialism. Be creative. I am not requiring any written assignment just a visual representation of imperialism. 

Due date: I will accept this extra credit up until Dec 17th. 

** remember 2nd quarter is shorter because of all the holidays there will not be as many opportunities for extra credit.

Write a 2 page bio on either Karl Marx or Adam Smith. Please put any information in your own words

Be sure to include a picture and at least 3 main ideas. Also write a paragraph either supporting or arguing against his ideas. 

Due friday 11/14. this assignment has the potential to add 5 points to your homework average for first quarter!!!!!

Reading for homework

In case you did not get the remind text, the industrial revolution reading is not due on monday. I did not hand it out on friday
